Mr. Keizo Yanagisawa joined Adragos Pharma K. K. in 2022 as President and Representative Director and was appointed as President and Representative Director of Kawagoe Pharma K. K. in 2023 when Adragos Pharma GmbH acquired the Kawagoe facility from Sanofi. Keizo has almost 20 years of experience in the Pharma industry, particularly in shaping, driving strategy, and building successful business models of CDMO in Japan.

Between 2010 and 2023, Keizo was Representative Director of Haupt Pharma Toride, managing the first German CMO in Japan and leading a rapidly growing organization together with Mr. Prange, who is one of the shareholders of Adragos Pharma GmbH. Prior to Haupt Pharma Toride, he was at MSD Japan for 5 years, where he was a seasoned Senior Director of Strategy and Management for Research and Development Institutes in Tsukuba. Keizo had previously been in various positions of increasing responsibility at Kobe Steel including Senior Manager for Corporate Planning and Steel Products Export.

Keizo received his Bachelor of Arts focusing on the History of the banking system in England during the Industrial Revolution from Tohoku University in Japan. 

Keizo also holds an MBA in Executive MBA at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, USA.
